Just a Sweet Story

 Two pairs of eyes connected. Emerald warm eyes clashed with cold onix eyes. The second his eyes met hers, his stare softened. Her eyes sparkled with happy but salty tears.. She ran towards him with her arms wide open. He fell on his knees and slowly opened his arms. When she reached him, she wrapped her tiny arms around his neck as he wrapped his around her small waist. He started wishpering sweet things in her ear, trying to calm her down, to make her believe they finally found each other.
 When they let go, he got something out of his pocket and showed it to the girl. It was a beautiful silver chain that had a small pendant shaped like a heart. He opened it and the picture inside made a fresh set of tears appear in the girls eyes. In the picture was a beautiful woman with bright green eyes and long, silky, red hair. She was holding a little girl with beautiful emerald eyes and short, black hair. A man with onix eyes and black hair standing beside them.
 The man put the necklace around the girls neck and kissed her forehead.He allowed a few tears to escape his eyes, after all that was the last picture they had with her. The others were lost in the fire. The same one that made them lose the one they loved so much.
 Something cold and wet hit his cheek. He looked up and saw that it started raining. The girl looked up as well. She knew what this meant. She heard a lot of stories about where the rain comes from, but she believed only one. The one that says the rain are the tears the angel shed for their loved ones. She knew her mother is up there: looking after them and crying for them.
 They stood there looking at the sky, silently thinking about her. About her face, her smile, her voice but mostly about her undying love for them. The love that will last forever and ever...
